Relaxation at Zoetry Marigot Bay
On a recent FAM trip to Saint Lucia, courtesy of Inclusive Collection, World of Hyatt, we were able to discover the beautiful Zoetry Marigot Bay. A truly memorable experience with some lovely fellow travel agents…
Hidden on a hilltop setting, in the midst of mountainous peaks and a striking turquoise marina, Zoetry Marigot Bay envelops guests in nature from the get go. It’s perfect for couples and solo travellers looking to escape the everyday and rejuvenate in style. Every suite or residence offers up opulence in the form of dark, rich finishings, beautiful furnished terraces, some with their very own private plunge pool and many with the most breathtaking views of the marina. One of my most cherished memories of the trip in fact was soaking up the jaw-dropping views for a couple of hours every morning before breakfast from my balcony.
Residence room types in particular have a real VIP feel with their very own spacious living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens. Although, with a choice of 7 eateries on site, one needn’t concern themselves with cooking. My favourite restaurant was the Hurricane Hole for their tasty cooked-to-perfection earth-oven pizzas. Also worth mentioning... a rock cake from Coco Cafe became a daily ritual.
I decided to treat myself to a full body massage in a treehouse during one of our free slots and hands down… the best massage I’ve ever had. Nothing quite like the sound of trees, rain and birdsong to switch off to… absolute bliss.
The resort offered up a plethora of complimentary activities we could take up, including guided hikes, meditation, pilates, yoga and more. I had a yoga session in the rain one morning and it was the perfect start to my day. We also had two exciting activities planned for us by our wonderful hosts. The first was horse riding down to the beach and in the sea with a delicious local BBQ grill lunch. Definitely an experience worth trying if you’re into riding and want to try something different. The second was a Luxury Catamaran sail with Carnival Luxury Sailing Charters, to the well-known Pitons where we enjoyed a leisurely snorkel, a delicious 3-course lunch and a magical sunset. We were even joined by some dolphins who decided to grace us with their captivating presence for a fair part of our journey.
A big thank you to Lauren Mack at Inclusive Collection as well as Alisteer Nelson and Carleen Isidore at Zoetry Marigot Bay for the wonderful hospitality. The entertainment on our final night was just mind blowing and something I'll always remember. A special mention also to the wonderful Rosemary in housekeeping who left personal notes for me every day and to Vornetta from the front desk team for being so attentive and personable.
